JOB DESCRIPTION -

The Assistant Manager, Finance is a beginner role towards assuming greater financial responsibilities in an organization. This is a great role for someone who is desirous of building a career in company finance, not just accounting. Someone in this role will get exposure to basic financial processes around accounts payable, payments processing, vendor management and procurement. After some experience in this field, one can look forward to assuming managerial and process design roles.

Roles and Responsibilities:

-Verifying all payment requests (payroll, employee claims, vendor invoices etc.) to ensure compliance with
company policies.
-Investigating payment requests to identify potential irregularities.
-Processing payments with appropriate tax compliances (Service tax, VAT, TDS etc.).
-Making accounting entries into Tally 9 ERP.
-Interacting with various stakeholders to troubleshoot finance related issues.
-Help preparing various financial statements.
