Job Description:

We seek an Android Developer to develop on/upgrade mobile application(s) for our Cloud-based Channel Management & Marketing Systems. The developer would work closely with our design teams to upgrade our existing tightly coupled web-mobile application as well as develop mobile applications consuming our cloud APIs

-Develop, support, and optimize our Android applications.

-Collaborate closely with other developers, designers and business users to define innovative UI and functionalities optimized for mobile platforms.

-Assist with training less experienced software engineer staff. Ensure the performance, security, quality, and responsiveness of applications.

-Investigate and resolve application issues, bottlenecks and inefficiencies.

-Identify and resolve compatibility issues across a wide range of Mobile OS versions and devices.

-Work with other mobile teams across the company to utilize and establish best practices for mobile development.

-Deliver high quality work on tight schedules.

Skills Required:

-Experience working on high-volume B2B mobile products.

-Strong sense of ownership, urgency and drive.

-Ability to wear many hats, able to change direction quickly, and eagerness to learn new things.

-Committed to mentoring and learning from others.

-Knowledge of Mobile application design patterns, including the ones needed to develop connected applications with high-performing UI.

-Ability to translate concept designs into user interfaces on mobile devices.

-Strong communication, analytical and problem solving skills.

-Experience in low level debugging and proficiency in high level debugging with common debugging tools.

-Experience with version control tools preferably GIT.
