Job Description:

- Design and build android app from scratch

- Design and build advanced app features for the android app

- Collaborate with team & senior management to design, ship and build new features in the app

- Unit-test code for robustness, cutting edge cases, usability and general reliability

- Write clean maintainable code, while regularly iterating and shipping

- Participate in all phases of development from design to implementation, unit testing and release

- Continuously evaluate and work on new technologies for the development and enhancement of the android app

Skills Required:
We are looking for candidates with following skills:

- Candidates with passion in working for startups should apply

- Candidates who are looking for food startups where they can fully utilize their skills in getting customers and then retaining them should apply

- Candidates who are looking for full time internships or candidates with full time work experience can apply (even college grads or people pursuing education who can work full time, though we would prefer candidates who have writing experience in the domain of food, however other domains can also work

- Strong knowledge on android SDK, Recycler View, card view, list view, broadcast reciver, full activity lifecycle, handling of dialog/fragment dialog, fragment lifecycle, HttpUrlConnection/OkHttp/Volley/Retrofit

- Has good working knowledge in Java, OOPS, Design Patterns, Data Structures, Collections & multithreading

- Have publishes atleast one original Android App on Play Store

- Should have problem solving approach

- Good visual design sense and creative drive

- Hands on on Linux/Unix

- Passion for product quality and attention to detail

- Strong beliver in lean startups/ agile development and iterating quickly, high willingness to learn

- Knowledge of open source android ecosystem and the libraries associatedand available for various tasks

- Experience of integrating mobile apps with RESTful web API services

- Strong understanding of patterns and prectices in the android ecosystem

- Understanding of full mobile development lifecycle

- Should be well aware of consumer internet industry

- Should have team working skills and capability

- Ability to think, work and execute independently
