Role Brief:
- 1-6 years of Analytics using SAS and the primary focus of the role is to deliver Algorithmic Credit Decisioning models.
- The individual will be responsible for end to end model development, deployment, recalibration and redevelopment
Technical and domain expertise:
- Expertise in SAS plus R/SQL advanced analytics/Statistics Techniques such as general linear model, ANOVA, decision trees, linear regression, Bayesian etc
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Group/Region/Country stakeholder to understand the business requirements and priorities and deliver the agreed analytics priorities
- Development of Algorithmic Credit Decisioning model
- Work independently to deliver project assignments.
- Ensure appropriate operational procedures are in place in compliance with the Bank s strategy, branding policies and standards
- Ensure adherence of Group/Country Governance
The Person Must Have:
- At least 1+ years desired relevant work experience in Banking / Financial Services Industry working on SAS and Model development
- In depth business understanding for client, segment, product , channels and business life-cycles
- Expert in building Credit Risk/Marketing model
- Conceptual and technical knowledge of risk concepts and quantitative modeling techniques.
- Proficiency in SAS, SAS macro is must, SAS Enterprise Miner knowledge is preferred
- Hands on tools and techniques experience in data mining, Big data, BI Analytics
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Self-driven and result focused
Education:
- Advanced Degree (Masters required) in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, or other highly technical quantitative discipline
