Job type : Internship 

Duration : 30-45 days duration ( It may be extend based on the client requirement)

Basic Prerequisites :

-Comprehensive understanding of the Telecommunication industry, ability to analyze issues related to industry and regulatory aspects, and ability to study its impact on the business

-Tracking operator performance and analyzing trends in excel spreadsheets

-Conducting secondary research and preparation of reports on various sectors and companies especially in the Telecom sector

-Should have experience or knowledge of using paid sources such as Factiva

-Adhering to SG Analytics information security management system requirement and client specified requirement.
 
Report Writing :

-Proficient in report writing, especially in the areas of strategy analysis, financial and operational analysis, and regulatory aspects

Research Skills – Secondary Skill :

-Excellent research skills with ability to extract data from available sources – 99% the position will be involved in secondary research.

-Primary research will be limited.

Client Management:

-End to end client management – Includes scoping of project, end-to-end project management, client interaction, proposal generation (optional)

-Written Interaction 60 % , Telephonic Interaction 40%

Basic Financial Awareness :

-Financial Awareness of interpreting Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Accounts & knowledge about EBITDA, Net margin, PE Ratio etc.

MS – Office (Advance Excel Skill Set) :

-Advanced level Microsoft Excel and Access skills, including usage for formulae’, VLOOKUP, IF conditions, etc.

-Ability to handle an excel dataset with more than 50 tabs

-Adept in using Google translation

Telecom Industry Awareness :

-Thorough understanding of Telecom regulatory bodies like TRAI, DOT.

-Aware of various Technologies (GSM/CDMA/3G)

-Latest happenings in Telecom Industry / Global Telecom market

Behavioral Parameters :

-Good Presentation and Communication Skills 

-Strong organizational skills including excellent time management and project management

-Flexibility to work across time zones

Interview Rounds :

-Face to face followed by written round
