During the IT Boom in the late 90s and early 2000, IT By Design launched as an alternative cost effective solution to the in house Network Administrator. Costs for these in house staff were soaring and many small and mid-size companies could not justify the expense. With this in mind, IT By Design began first as an Infrastructure Management Company, acting as an outsourced Help Desk for our clients. The concept was simple: We provided shared resources for companies that were in need of the IT department processes without the added costs. These services included the procurement, implementation, and management of required hardware, software, and network devices.
