Wheelstreet is India’s First Bike Rental Portal, started in March 2014. Currently we have offices inBangalore and Delhi, and have plans to expand Pan India very soon. We aim to solve bike renting problems through technology. Even though the concept of Bike renting is in existence from past 40 years, the market is still highly unorganised. We, at Wheelstreet, are striving hard to remove all the hassles of a rider who wants a bike on rent and bring transparency in the process using best technologies.

Job Description:

We need our UI/UX designers to create next-generation designs that change how millions look for theirperfect place on rent. We are looking for problem solvers who have a knack for challenges and take them right 'on the face' to solve it at any cost, come what may.

Job Responsibilities

- Conceptualizing, designing and prototyping new features for our core
- Moving seamlessly from whiteboard sketches and paper prototypes to interactive prototypes.
- Presenting designs to internal stakeholders and other team members.
- Conducting frequent, iterative usability testing in parallel with development.
- Maintaining and evolving a set of design patterns and standards.
- Pairing with developers to design the presentation layer.

Requirements

- 3-5 years of experience as a web/mobile designer.
- Solid portfolio demonstrating design savvy.
- Good eye for aesthetics: layout, grid systems, color theory and typography.
- Strong understanding of mobile platforms, particularly iOS, Android and Windows Phone7.
- Candidate must absolutely be in sync with recent design standards and trends.
- Mastery of Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Fireworks and Corel Draw.
- Expertise in wire framing tools like Balsamiq, Axure.
- Conceptual understanding of User Interface Design and the Design Process
