Job Description and Skill set Required:
- Work with Product team to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience.
- Write easy-to-understand user interface text, online help and developer guides.
- Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications.
- Create and maintain the information architecture
- Determine the needs of end users of technical documentation
- Study product samples and talk with product designers and developers Work with technical staff to make products easier to use and thus need fewer instructions
- Organize and write supporting documents for products by using photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users understanding
- Select appropriate medium for message for audience, such as manuals or online videos
- Standardize content across platforms and media
