We help startups develop their web and mobile applications. Startups, Ideators and Innovators trust us to enable them with the latest technology to achieve their business targets. We have created multiple products from scratch in the FinTech, HRTech, EduTech, HealthTech domains along with products for niche markets. Our clients are mostly from the US, UK, Dubai, and a few from India. We have quite a few projects in these domains where the new joinees would work. Initially they will assist the existing developers, but soon they would get standalone projects. Job Description:
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code in Ruby
- Integration with database and third-party tools and services
- Writing APIs to be consumed by frontend, apps, and third-parties
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Help maintain code quality, organization and automation

What you should already know:
- Strong knowledge with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as Devise, ancestry, papertrail
- Good understanding of Ruby and it's nuances
- Uncanny ability to write declarative code and an inherent urge to convert imperative code into declarative one
- Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as React, or at least HTML + jQuery
- A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
- Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
- Ability to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Familiarity with git, working with git-flow is a bonus
- Familiarity with deployment to AWS, familiarity with docker and kubernetes is a plus
