Job Description:
- You will work at the Aspiring Minds Research and Development Centre in Gurgaon. The research group is a leader in developing cutting-edge assessments to grade open-response questions. Some of the achievements:
- The group has been constantly publishing in high-impact conferences in the field of ML: KDD, NIPS, ACL, AAAI as well as in the field of education and HCI: SigCSE, EDM, UbiComp. The complete list of publications can be seen here.
- The group has conceptualized and designed products to automatically evaluate spoken English and grade programming assessments.
- The group launched the first-ever motor skill assessment application which is powered by ML. Our tool Automata is the only ML powered programming assessment tool in the world.

Skill Set Required:
Roles and Responsibilities:
- The individual will work as a part of the research group at Aspiring Minds in developing solutions to real-world problems using state of the art machine learning techniques, computer science concepts, and statistical assessments.
- As a part of this team, you will understand the kind of problems we are interested in translating them into computer science problems
- Understand the state of the art in related areas in academia and industry and cross-apply multiple research findings to develop new products or enhance our current products

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Strong computer science concepts with great programming skills
- Exposure to machine learning is a plus
- Good computer science projects/ coding experience
