Job Description and Skill Set Required:

-Strong understanding of PHP back-end development and Developing in Wordpress a MUST
-Good understanding of front-end technologies, including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery.
-Intermediate to advanced knowledge of WordPress (Responsive Theme customization, Customizing and extending wordpress plugins.
-Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML) a plus.
-Good understanding and experience of Wordpress Content Management System
-Must have good experience in delivering Responsive Web applications and websites
-Must have good experience in Delivering ecommerce solutions based on open source platforms.
-Must have good understanding of PayPal API and other Payment Gateway
-Previous experience working for Australian Clients website / ecommerce shop will be an added advantage
-Experience in Agile Development methodology
-Experience working in JIRA will be an added advantage
-Understanding of working within GIT supported development
-Ability to interface with multiple project team members and work with them remotely or face to face.
-Proven experience in developing wordpress plugins
-Proven experience in developing wordpress custom post types/ PSD to Wordpress theme
-Proven experience in wordpress optimization and managing wordpress backup and security
-Experience in maintaining wordpress website e.g. updating blogs / articles and other parts of wordpress website
-Proven experience in working for overseas client online applications/websites from USA/Australia/UK or Europe will be an added advantage
-Expert level experience in front-end technologies, such as JavaScript/jquery, HTML5, and CSS3/AJAX
-Knowledge of object oriented PHP programming
-Understanding accessibility and security compliance
-Strong knowledge of the common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions
-Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds
-Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
-Excellent understanding and experience in developing applications based on php/mysql platform
