Job Description:

-Design and Develop backend services in NodeJS and/or other modern programming languages

-Performance tuning, both on code and database levels

-Support production software operations, test and debug programs

-Perform Incident management, Problem management and troubleshooting for production systems


Skill Set Required:

-Excellent understanding of functional (FP) programming in JavaScript using current design patterns/practices.

-Knowledge in Node JS framework: Express JS, Promise

-Creating RESTful web services /APIs using Node.js with or without framework assistance

-Understanding of Kraken framework

-JavaScript-based unit testing tools

-Experience in one or more of the following build tools GIT, Jenkins, Jira

-Good skills with Client-side browser technologies including HTML5/CSS3, Javascript, Responsive Design

-Strong experience with No-SQL and/or SQL databases eg MongoDB, MySQL,Visual Studio / Eclipse/ Web Storm

-Release management of Node JS web applications and Web services
