Job Description:

1. L0 Monitoring, Service Desk Engineer
 
- Knowledge in installing, configuring, basic troubleshooting of enterprise products of networking like switches, routers, access points, WAN/LAN.  
- Wider knowledge in basics of Infrastructure Management and enterprise technologies Wintel/ VMware/Unix/Network/Database at a conceptual level and should be capable of performing SOP based activities across all technologies.
- Good knowledge in monitoring products – Preferably on HP products (HP NNMi, HP Sitescope, HP Omi, IMC, Airwave, HP Service Manager / Service Anywhere)
- Performing/executing service requests and preparing/sending daily/weekly/monthly reports.
- Engaging vendors to assist with resolution of incidents, where relevant

2. Technical Support Engineer
 
- Knowledgeable to ask questions to determine nature of problem and log tickets in tool.
- Will be a direct contact point for customers and onsite field personnel. Accuracy in entitling customers and routing to the correct team for service or dispatch is critical to meeting service level agreements. 
- Working from a standard protocol and utilizing documented processes to respond to customer issues. Some judgment may be used to supplement the outlined process. 
- Need to successfully resolve technical issues (related to hardware and software) from incoming customer contacts and proactive notification systems. 
- Responding to service, product, technical, and customer-relations questions on subjects such as features, specifications, and repairs on current and discontinued products, parts, and options, based on customer entitlement (for example more complex warranty). 
- Assisting customers to avoid or reduce problem occurrence.

Desired Candidate Profile:
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT
- Technical Certification – Preferably on networking
- Knowledge of Customer Service practices
- Excellent Written and Oral Skills
- Problem analysis, problem-solving, adaptability & team interaction
- Should be Flexible to work on Rotational 24*7 shifts.
- Should have worked in process driven environment.
- Should be familiar with escalation, Incident and Change management process.(ITIL)
- Relevant certifications would be an added advantage.
- Should have quick learning skills.
