‘Mrida’ in Sanskrit means ‘Soil’. And that, in a single word encapsulates what we stand for. We work at the ground level, close to the soil. Our work is directed mainly at the Base of the Pyramid (BOP) – our core customers. Our product offerings emanate, literally as well as figuratively, from the soil. Our logo – a plant beginning to take root – also reflects the Mrida philosophy. The color green is symbolic of the eco friendly, vibrant and ethical businesses that the group seeks to bring to life. The bud represents the fruits of our efforts, and would soon blossom into life as the business evolves and grows.
Each Mrida business entity – MridaRenergy& Development (P) Ltd., Mrida Greens & Organics Pvt. Ltd., and Khoj – Journeys of Discovery, represents business models designed to create win-win situations across the spectrum of their association. We work at the ground level (BOP), but dream big and aim high.
India is our base but our ultimate objective is to become a global entity.
