Job Description

Key responsibility areas include :

- Programming on 8 bit microcontroller platforms in embedded C

- Working on Interupts, timers and other microcontroller functions and interfacing to various serial protocols such as I2C, SPI, and UART etc

- Writing low level Assembly code for power optimization and speed up of certain embedded tasks

Skills Required-

- Experience with standard lab equipment, such as oscilloscopes and logic analyzers

- JTAG debugging tools usage proficiency

- Working with analog sensors and systems

- Multilayer PCB Design experience in Eagle CAD

- Experience in choosing parts online by sorting through wide variety of data-sheets and sources such as element14, digikey and mouser

- Working with low power systems

- Implementing custom communication protocols between various components, such as between micro-controllers

- Read data sheets of new IC’s and get them working

- Experience with the Arduino Platform
