Chakde TV is a new Punjabi entertainment and news channel and is unique to the Canadian Punjabi television industry. It is the only HD Punjabi channel currently in Canada. Chakde TV is the only Punjabi channel that is producing its own shows within Canada, with up to 80% of our content produced by our team in Canada. Other Punjabi channels tend to receive their content directly from India, and therefore, may have little relation to Punjabi community living in Canada. Chakde TV looks to bring shows that are more relevant to Indo-Canadians by providing programs such as news, reality shows and talk shows, featuring issues relevant in our own communities. The Chakde TV Team also looks to engage with the community through shows like ChakdeChulla and SanjhiSoch, SanjhaSuneha, providing an outlet for organizations or individuals who wish to be heard.
