As the very name goes, Boudh was once a significant Buddhist centre in Odisha which has been confirmed as an archaeological fact. Located centrally in the Map of Odisha, Boudh is traversed by river Mahanadi and its tributaries, along which lie the extensive riverine fertile plains. The socio-economic genesis of the people of Boudh lies in the agrarian economy which is due to large and extensive fertile plains suitable for cultivation. Boudh district is presently on its march towards progression and development by leaps and bounds for which time alone shall remain testimony to its future.

Eligibility Criteria : Art Education Instructor

Qualification : i).Degree / Post Graduate in Visual Art/Performing Art a). BFA & BVA for the pass out students belonging to Visual Art and B.Mus for pass out students belonging to performing Art (the ratio of Visual Art and Performing Art shall be 50:50). b). The BFA & BVA Art degree from 8.K./ College of Art and Crafts, BBSR, Govt. College of Art & Crafts, Khalikote and Pvt. Colleges of the state recognized by the state universities may be considered as one of the eligibility criteria for engagement of Art Instructors (visual Art). c). B.Mus degree from Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya and other Govt. & Pvt. Colleges of the state recognized by the state universities may be considered for engagement of Art Instructors (Performing Art). d). The pass out students of V.D. Govt. College of Art and crafts, Jeypore, +2 pass out students of Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya, BBSR, B.K. College of Art & Crafts, BBSR, Govt. College of Art & crafts, Khalikote may be considered for engagement of Art Instructor. ii). In case of non-availability of the above qualification, eminent artists who have State Level recognition may be considered for engagement. The district wise list of such candidates shall be provided by the Director, Culture. iii). Local persons (from the same district) may be given priority due to the part time nature of job and for easy mobility.
