About Us:

HackLab.in is a "gym for nerds". It is a cross of an incubation center and a hacker-space. Like a hacker-space we offer a community-oriented workplace aiming to facilitate and increase  the participation of people with common interest in developing projects. But unlike hacker-spaces we don’t restrict ourselves to developing free software and open hardware (we do promote them though). We have left the decision for this on the members. They are free to choose the way by which they would like to contribute. Here you will not only get the resources required to build your project, if we feel that the idea has potential we might even fund it! We provide the members an environment to work on challenging projects relevant to our society. We build projects to solve some critical problems prevailing in the society.

Job Description:

The selected intern(s) will work on following during the internship:
- Either work on your own idea or team up with existing startup teams working on interesting software + hardware ideas.
- Will have to implement some novel interfaces in Android application,
- Get a chance to work on the field to test the product,
- Create beautiful UI / UX flows on Android / iOS / Web, develop the full stack, play a key part in the overall product architecture

Who can apply:

Anyone who is passionate about mobile and users, and ideally, who has developed at least some basic level applications, worked on some existing frameworks.

Additional Information:

We're working on some exciting consumer devices, robotics applications. We especially love IoT :)
Note: Stipend will be paid only if you decide to work on an existing startup idea. If you plan to work on your own idea, no stipend.

The candidate maybe absorbed full time if found suitable.
