Shopperts (www.shopperts.in) is a seed-funded startup in the social commerce space promoting the concept of social selling. We support several homemakers who work as self-made entrepreneurs. They help their social network discover great quality womenswear from all over the country. If their consumers like something, they buy it then and there, all via WhatsApp and Facebook!A great transformation is happening in the e-commerce landscape of India as consumers start to buy "interesting products" that they spot on popular social media platforms. Homemakers are fueling this trend of social selling. Popular consulting firm Zinnov estimates about 8-9B USD worth of products are being sold socially today by homemakers in India, and the commerce volume is expected to grow at 40-50% CAGR from 2017-22.We are a great pool of motivated folks working relentlessly towards making Shopperts happen.
