Job Description :

The android developer should be aware of or worked with most of these if not all of these:

- Multiple resolution support

- Activity, Intents, Async tasks, threads and background services

- Broadcast receivers and Content Providers

- UI layouts and views

- Google Cloud Messaging and Notifications

- Image caching and lazy loading

- XML/Json parsers

- Sqlite databases

- Third party sdks integrations

- Best practices across all verticals

- Good to have material design concepts

Skill Set Required:

- Strong problem solving skills and should have passion to be a strong coder

- Knowledge in Data Structures/Algorithms and complexity analysis is a mandate.

- Aware of object oriented concepts is a MUST.

- Code partitioning and software design patterns are mandate

- Version management tools like git/svn are required

- Github contributions is an advantage

- Solving problems from hackerrank /leetcode /codewars/ topcoder is an added advantage
