Job Description & Skill Set Required:
- The Technical Consultant Trainee is part of an agile development team building and working on enterprise grade software systems using blockchain, cryptography, Linux and distributed databases stack.
- Technical Consultant Trainee is involved in all areas of development from design to development to testing.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Chief Technology Officer, the duties and responsibilities of the trainee include:
- Working with an agile team to develop, test, and maintain web and desktop-based business applications built on blockchain, cryptography, Linux and distributed databases stack.
- Assisting in the collection and documentation of user's requirements, development of user stories, and estimates.
- Preparing reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of software.
- Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards.
- Participating in peer-reviews of solution designs and related code.
- Package and support deployment of releases.
- Analysing and resolving technical and application problems.
- Adhering to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.
- Providing third-level support to business users.
Core Competency Requirements
- Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Solid understanding of relational database design and querying concepts
- Solid understanding of Linux.
Preferred Competency Requirements
- Exposure to Golang, Python programming languages.
- Exposure to web development using HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Knowledge of client/server application development
- Knowledge of agile development methodologies
- Knowledge of unit testing theory
Desired Skills:
- Hands on MS office and MS Excel.
- Confident communication, interpersonal skills with excellent English.
- Quick learner and ability to multitask.
- Knowledge of International market preferred.
- Experience in working on Customer Relationship Management systems (CRM).
- Effective Team Player Desired Skills.
- Proven working experience as a financial adviser, planner or relevant experience preferred.
- Accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to explain complex information clearly and simply.
- Excellent PC knowledge and ability to operate database systems
