Responsibilities

The responsibilities of a showroom assistant are more demanding than one could think. However, there are general ideas across the announcements:

• Professional attitude
• To know how to operate a computer and to be able to learn how to operate new software
• To possess very good communication skills, for both clients and work colleagues
• Most of the times, some sort of experience in a showroom (or store) is needed
• To possess some knowledge of the merchandise that is being sold, or to learn quickly about it
• Must have high school diploma
• Must have a clean police record, be a healthy individual, and not to consume drugs
• Must do price and tag inventory (but it is not very difficult to learn how to do this)
• Sometimes, an employee must complete administrative tasks: answering the phone, to emails and others
• Must be an organized person, and to be able to move stuff around if needed.
