Job Description and Skill Set Required :
-Excellent working knowledge of Progress database
-Minimum of 2 years\' experience in Open Edge 10 application development environment
-Comfortable with coding / development
-Experience with full SDLC implementations
-Experience in working with Finance / Accounting platforms
-Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills
-Working with a team of high caliber, technically proficient IT application designers and developers to ensure the design, development, enhancement and implementation of the Progress Open Edge 10 IT application to agreed timescales and technical specifications.
-Analyzing and suggesting alternatives, ideas, and approaches that will improve the quality of success of IT development programs or projects related to the Progress Open Edge 10 application.
-Supporting the development of business cases for the implementation of new or enhanced IT services and solutions.
-Proactively developing and maintaining a current and accurate knowledge of relevant business application solutions to provide effective support to the business.
