Roles and Responsibilities:
Round the clock operations of the boiler as and accessories per the load requirements.
Run the Boiler as per the IBR Rules and regulations.
Prepare boiler for the annual inspection and passing.
Monitoring of boiler and feed water parameters.
Monitor thermic fluid oil quality and quantity during operation, quarterly sampling of thermic fluid.
Trouble shooting and making the boiler bring the system online with in minimal time in case of any issues.
Checking the parameters of the boiler and report any abnormalities in case of any deviation.
Data logging & analysis of all technical parameters as per scheduled time intervals - but not limited to inlet temp of feed water, Steam temp & pressure, flue gas temp, etc.
Report any Abnormal conditions immediately to Supervisor and Company Utility representative.
Tuning of Boiler periodically.
Checking of safety system and interlocks.
Maintenance and Preventive Maintenance needs to be done as per the need from the Plant Maintenance Team.
Maintaining adding and updating the Chemicals and oils used for the Boiler & Hot Oil Unit.
Stock Taking of the Necessary spares needed for the Boiler and Hot Oil Unit and checking and updating to the Supervisor and Plant Utility representative.
Shift relieving activity should happen in field and all issues needs to be shown in field of what is the issue. ON table or relieving in other places is not accepted.
Follow the Instructions and guidelines provided by the Supervisor and the Site Utility representative.
Following the Safety standards as prescribed by the company.
Operation and Maintenance should be done simultaneously as per the need.
Maintain Housekeeping of the area of work and also the Maintenance done place.
Maintain the Given Tools and PPE in good condition.
Furnace Oil System & unloading of tankers and maintenance of the system for Unloading the Help from Utility operator or Shift electrician can be sought out.
