Job Description:
-Technology evangelist should have excellent hands on experience (1 year and above) in Web based programming using technologies like Ruby on Rails / Java / .NET / Open Source / JS etc.
-Exposure to mobile application development for iOS and Android will be a plus.
-Excellent communication and analytical skills.
-Sound knowledge of Object Oriented Programming (OOPS) Concepts, Data Structures, Algorithms and Design Patterns.
-Sound knowledge of relational database concepts, PostgreSQL / MySQL / Oracle / PL/SQL / MSSQL, RDBMS, etc.
-Knowledge of Ember.js, Facebook React.js, Node.js, Angular.js will be a plus.
-Knowledge of developing API based web server apps that has mobile app as front end, will be a huge plus.
-Excellent hands on skills in jQuery, javascript etc.
-Knowledge of test driven development i.e. TDD (JUnit or NUnit or RSpec) or BDD (cucumber), continuous integration using Hudson, Jenkins, Cruise Control, CircleCI etc.
-Strong programming skills using languages like C++ and C.
-Agile mindset i.e. technology evangelist can adapt to frequently changing requirements.
-Excellent knowledge of version control systems like Git or Mercurial Bitbucket.
-Exposure to cloud deployment on Amazon or deployment on Heroku or standalone virtual servers etc. will be a plus.
-Inclination to learn and code using web technology "Ruby on Rails".
-Inclination to develop your own libraries or reusable components (or gems in Ruby on Rails).
-Hard core coder, passionate about programming, love to code and innovate, crazy about latest technology.
-Should be proactive in providing solutions, follows coding standards and sprint plans, estimations, meeting velocity requirements / estimations etc.
-Collaborative, team player, self motivated, quick learner and quality conscious.
-Exposure or experience in mobile application development using XCode, Cocoa, Objective-C, Android, PhoneGap, Titanium, Swift, Crosswalk, Cordova etc would be a huge plus.
-Desire to be up-to date with technology and willingness to learn new technologies.
-Contributed to open source projects, have participated in some technical community or interest group or have written or spoken in public about their technical ideas.
