Profile Offered: IT Backend Specialist

Course Specialization: BCA/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech

Job Location: Gurgaon

Job Responsibilities:

  • Installations and updates of our censhare application server.
  • Communication with the customer and other internal departments for support cases and consulting.
  • Estimation of hardware sizing and architecture recommendations.
  • Maintenance work on onsite and in-house installations as well as cloud based VM installations such as AWS.
  • Installations, backups and restoring of Oracle and PostreSQL databases as well as sizing, performance tuning, updates and troubleshooting.
  • Analysis of performance problems, network communications and OS related problems.

Skills:

  • Profound knowledge in at least one major Linux/Unix OS (architecture, commands, bash and scripting (shell, python and perl preferred))
  • Basic know-how of Oracle or PostreSQL databases and basic SQL knowledge
  • Good knowledge of macOS and Windows based operating systems
  • Excellent understanding of network security and services like DNS, DHCP, NFS, TCP/IP in general
  • Good command over oral and writing skills in English
  • A reliable teamplayer with engagement, responsibility, reliability and flexibility
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously with minimal direction

Good to have:

  • Deeper know-how of Oracle or PostreSQL databases
  • Know-how in AWS and VMware
  • know-how of monitoring tools like Nagios and Icinga
  • Experience with Ansible and Docker

B.Tech/B.E., BCA, M.Tech./M.E., MCA
