Roles and Responsibilities:
Analyze the data flow of applications & integration with external/ internal systems and should be capable of suggesting appropriate security controls and protect Data in Transit within and across networks
Comfortable in writing programmatic adapters to security solutions, integrating applications/databases using user defined functions to customer products/hosted upstream/downstream applications using API, web services, offline data integration mechanisms, etc.
Implement data-in-transit security across network via components including but not limited to Web, DB, Thick-client, FTP, Active Directory, ETL tools, etc,.
Sound knowledge in configuring secure connections between entities with familiarity in Certificate Management, SSL Off-loading, VPC Peering, Site-to-Site VPN connectivity and other Secure Cloud configurations for secure data transfer.
GDPR privacy regulation and related security controls would be an advantage
Past experience in cyber architectures, risk assessments, Data flow analysis, Threat Modeling would be an advantage. Ideal candidate should be a good team player, keen learner, and highly detail oriented and commitment to executing daily tasks/work packages.
Documentation skills to support security reviews and track open items. Experience with word/PPT, excel macros, automation of repetitive tasks would be an added advantage. Good communication and articulation skills is mandatory to be able to interface with senior management as well as technical faculty in addressing technical queries related to security implementation
High collaboration skills and experience working with cross-functional teams (IT, Application Owners, Portfolio leaders, etc.) in facilitating security questionnaire responses, digressing inputs with actionable feedback, maintaining project inventory, and reporting to PMO with daily activity status updates.
Experience and working understanding of common cyber security solutions, such as: security information and event management (SIEM),data leakage prevention (DLP),identity and access management (IAM),role-based access control (RBAC),database activity monitoring (DAM),privileged identity management (PIM),privileged access management (PAM),file integrity monitoring (FIM),unstructured data classification and protection, etc.#ApplicationSecurity.#NetworkSecurity.
