Job Description and Skillset:
- Responsible for software design and development of important portions of Visteon\'s artificial intelligence platform for autonomous driving
- Strong background in deep learning and computer vision
- Required: strong technical background in any of the following: Multiple view geometry, 3D computer vision, SFM/ SLAM, object detection, tracking and recognition.
- Knowledge or understanding of sensor fusion, object detection and tracking, state estimation, mapping and localisation using various measurements from different sensors like image, lidar, radar etc
- Skilled in high level and low level software design, implementation and bug-fixing of issues
- Excellent coding skills, preferably in C++, Java, Python. Simulink/Matlab .

Skill Set:
- Attention to details is critical.
- Experience to work in a global environment feeling comfortable to work in a multicultural environment.
- Experience on going from abstract ideas to practical implementations
- Must be able to effectively work with little or no immediate supervision on several different projects at one time and meet the required deliverables on time, per specifications / standards, and on budget.
- Should be a good team player and have excellent interpersonal skills
Preferred Competencies:
- Desirable for candidate to have implemented interesting hobbyist projects in this field out of self interest - Goal orientated personality with the capability so support and motivate engineers to allow them understand how upcoming safety issues could be solved.
- Should exhibit potential to be a team lead in the future
