AMCAT-IT: Aspiring Minds Launches IT Technology and Language Modules

Aspiring Minds has added new tests to its suite of Computer Programming and Technology module. The modules would assess both entry level and lateral candidates on Java, C/C++, SQL and UNIX. These modules are in addition to the already present module of Computer Programming Principles which evaluates core data structures, algorithms and programming constructs.

Each module assesses the candidates at both fundamental and advanced levels on the intricacies of the technology/language and can be used as assessment tools for specialized job profiles. These modules have been developed in consultation with leading IT/ITeS companies and experts and have high test validity and reliability.

The Java module covers topics on Object Oriented Programming, Strings, Variables etc. C/C++ covers Classes and Objects, Pointers and Arrays, Data Structure etc. SQL is frequently used in conjunction with other languages and is used for data storage and handling. SQL module assesses candidates on basic and advanced data filtering commands, indexing, querying, etc. UNIX module covers topics on file system handling, Process, System Administration, Shell Programming etc.
