FAQs on eligibilty criteria

Can students from avionics stream apply to the Program?
Yes, the program focuses on revisiting concepts that are common to both mechanical and avionics stream, with exception to CAR 66 Modules 13 and 14.
I have a backlog of a paper based on the older system. Can I still apply?
If you have passed the course from DGCA approved AME College, you are eligible to apply even if you have a backlog of a module examination or a DGCA paper. However, if you have a college semester paper backlog, you are not eligible to apply for this program.
Are students from B1 helicopter stream allowed to apply?
Yes. Majority of the modules revised in the Program are common to helicopter and aeroplane stream. However, the practical exposure will happen on a fixed wing aircraft.
I have passed from AME College many years back on older examination system (BAMEL). Am I eligible to attend the program?
Yes.
What happens if I join the program and leave without completing the entire one year?
We expect students to stay for the entire 12 month duration to capture full value of the Program.
Why practical experience is limited to Boeing aircraft?
The practical exposure given in the Program is independent of type of an aircraft. A representation is being made to DGCA to consider entire one year of the Program as operating aircraft experience.
Would the program count towards Category A1, B1/B2 requirements?
Boeing and Air India have requested to DGCA to review the Program and consider the one year spent in the Program towards operating aircraft experience for category A1, B1/B2 requirements.
I have completed my graduation from AME College in July 2019. I have a job offer as a service technician from a leading airline. Why should I join this Program?
There are several benefits of enrolling in this Program, such as:

a. Hands-on experience on an operational Boeing aircraft.
b. Training from the best trainers in the industry, in a structured environment, using advanced training aids.
c. Recognition for associating with brands such as Boeing & Air India.

Above benefits will help students to set-up an upward trajectory for career in aviation.
Does the Program guarantee job after completion?
The Program does NOT guarantee a job in Air India or Boeing or with any other employer. The Program provides job placement support in the form of interview preparation, soft skills development and coordination with potential employers.
What would be the fees for second batch of the Program?
There is no tuition fees for the second batch(2019).
How would evaluation of candidate happen after appearing for both stages of the examination?
