"Deciding your right career path is more difficult than to decide the girl to marry. It’s not necessary the qualification and education that you possess will decide your right career path, but it may help sometimes. For me the education that I posses have not guided my career. I am an MBA in Finance working in Braahmam Net Solutions as a Project Management – Team Lead which does not relate to Finance at all, but my will and interest do.
The year 2009 was the year of disappointment; The Recession hit the International Markets which also affected Indian Market due to which the Placements from the college got affected badly. Unfortunately I had to pass out from the college in this year, and had to face the Global disappointment. But it was fortunate for me that I had registered in Aspiring Minds and scored a good number in AMCAT. After sitting two months at home and next day of my rejection in Bank of America, I received a mail from Aspiring Minds that I have to sit for an interview in Braahmam Net Solutions, Noida for the position of Project Coordinator.
Honestly speaking I did not know much about this profile, but there is saying that “Prayers go up and Blessings go down”. I appeared for the interview which has only 1 position vacant that I had to fight with multiple peoples.
But it was my calmness, presence of mind and ability to relate this job with my passion i.e. to play the football that had helped me to get this job, as I quoted that this job is similar to the game that I had been playing for 10 years.
But whenever I will look back, I will never forget the Aspiring Minds which has actually given me the opportunity to enter my dream life. Thank you so much!!"

"It has been a great journey since i took the AMCAT in 2010. It was a time when job opportunities were scarce and i was desperately hunting for jobs despite doing MMS in finance. Our college and placement team tried really hard to schedule a slew of campus interviews but those were either in the fields that i was not interested in or were from unreputed firms.
But then i took the AMCAT, though i was not sure of getting shortlisted as i was not convinced by my performance.
However, after days of patience testing period, my phone bell rang and i got a call for the group discussion round. I was enthralled as i got shortlisted from a batch of over 400 students from various MBA colleges of mumbai and navi mumbai. It really boosted my confidence and i went all guns blazing in the GD round only to get through to the ultimate personal interview round.
I some how managed to get through the last hurdle, convincing my interviewers that i was the right person who could do justice to the profile they were offering.
Since then it has been a journey in which i have steadfastly grown by leaps and bounds. The process of learning still continues though.
In the last over one and half years of work experience as an equity analyst, i have gone through two sucessful appraisals, and that too at a time when Indian stock markets have shown pessimistic trends and plunged around 25% yoy. And I am even keeping my fingers crossed for a promotion up the order soon.
So, i wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the whole Aspiring Minds Team for giving the much needed breakthrough to my career, post which my journey in life has not only been progressive but also highly rewarding."

"The run for my first job was a mixture of hard work and perseverance, which started with my interview at HCL, Greater Noida in Feb 2011, an opportunity I got through Aspiring Minds. I struggled hard & finally in Dec 2011 my run came to an end when I finally got selected in Urbantouch. I appeared for more than 20 interviews but due to lack of proficiency in English, I was rejected every time. I owe my achievements to my USPs: Ability to learn from my mistakes and my perseverance.
One thing I must mention here is that one should never lose hope. In an interview, it's not always possible for an interviewer to judge a candidate's abilities within 5-10 minutes. So never rate yourself low if you are rejected in an interview. Keep working hard while eliminating your weak points and in the end you will surely succeed.
Remember "Failure is Success.......if we learn from it"
Thank you Aspiring Minds for kick starting my career!!! "
