About the Program
The program, I - AMPEAR (IGNOU - Aspiring Minds Program for Employability Assessment and Recruitment), has been designed to comprehensively assess students on their aptitude, provide feedback and suggestions to improve and give them opportunities to get interviewed by various top organizations. This program aims to increase the overall employability of the students of I University.
This program will do the following:
- Pre-employment Aptitude Assessment (AMCAT) to all I students in QUALIFIED programs: This will provide the students in-depth analysis of their performance, their weaknesses & strengths from employability point of view and suggestive feedback
- Benchmark the students in terms of Industry specific recruitment standards: Students will be provided their percentile scores and comparative performance vis-a-vis their peers in their College or University or State or across India
- Psychometric based Personality Profiling & Mapping as part of AMCAT: The profiling will help the student understand his personality better based on the Five-Factor Model
- Placement assistance: Aspiring Minds will share the assessment scores of the students with over 70 companies that use AMCAT for short-listing for interviews. Based on the performance and profile, students will be called for interview with these companies
- Job/ Role/ Sector Fitment Analysis of the students: Every student will be provided a Job/ Role/ Sector Fitment Analysis Report that will help the student understand his strengths and what sector/ role he is more suited for.
This program will cover the following courses initially:
- Graduate Courses: BA, B Com., B Sc., BTS, BBA, BCA, B. Ed
- Post Graduate Courses: MA (English, History, Sociology & Economics) & M. Com, M.Sc.
